Mountain Bike Bracken Mountain in Brevard
The Bracken Mountain Biking and Hiking Trail opened at the end of July, 2012. It’s the County’s newest trail and is a huge success! You can park at the base of the trail (just up the hill from the Brevard Music Center) or in downtown. Go out and have fun on this trail that came to be through the hard work of the City of Brevard, many local volunteers and Long Cane Trails.
Bracken Mountain Trail, Intermediate
– Loop, 4 miles, 905’ elevation gained
Intermediate = 45 to 2:00 hours
Directions: Follow Signs directing you towards the Brevard Music Center and to Probart Street. Turn Right onto Music Camp Road. Travel for 0.3 mile to entrance of Brevard Music Center. Turn Left up Pinnacle Road (dirt). Travel 0.1 mile up to Parking Lot.
Bracken Mountain Trail, Long Ride, Intermediate
– Loop, 4.7 miles, 950’ elevation gained
Intermediate = 1:45 to 2:00 hours
Directions: Follow Signs directing you towards the Brevard Music Center and to Probart Street. Turn Right onto Music Camp Road. Travel for 0.3 mile to entrance of Brevard Music Center. Turn Left up Pinnacle Road (dirt). Travel 0.1 mile up to Parking Lot.
