Spring is here in Brevard and we are all happy about that! The trails and roads are filled with mountain bikers, cyclists, runners, hikers and waterfall hunters. As the weather warms up, the days start to get longer.  When you hit the trails, roads, rocks and rivers make sure you are prepared for everything! Layers, shades, hat, extra socks, shoes, water, snacks and rain gear will help to make your forest adventure extraordinary. Road ride to the Parkway. Sounds of Silvermont music jam with local musicians. A mix of bluegrass, country, gospel and more. Every thursday night (April through December) beginning at 7:30pm. 364 East Main Street, Brevard.

4th Friday Gallery Walk downtown Brevard. Gallery and Shop Owners stay open late to accommodate shoppers and visitors. Who knows, as you stroll around town you may luck into some wine and hors d’oeuvres. Keep in mind this is a monthly event happening each 4th friday from April through December. The “walk” begins at 5:00pm.

Transylvania Farmer’s Market from 8 to 12:30 EVERY SATURDAY (April through November) behind Comporium on Main Street. The market provides area residents and visitors (our new friends), with vegetables, fruit, meat, poultry, honey, eggs, cheese, herbs, flowers/plants, jams/jellies, baked goods, breakfast foods, coffee and lots of art & crafts!
