Hobnob, 192 West Main Street.
Sitting on the patio in the shade on a beautiful sunny day. Light jazz and the delectable smell of lunch the air. Maybe you should come join us? We’re all friends here and we’re happy to bring you into the fold. The Hobnob is a Brevard staple for locals and visitors alike.
During lunch don’t be surprised to see a laughing ladies group next to a real estate deal in the making. The food and the service are sure to compliment whatever company you keep. For dinner, the ladies return with their hubbies in tow and that realtor – he’s celebrating with his sweetie in the starry night booth.
Maybe you’ll settle in at the bar with the locals and one of the best bartenders in town. Honestly, not sure that group has ever met a stranger.
Come, feel at home…enjoy the food and the company. We’re looking forward to meeting you.
This quaint renovated house with a lovely patio offers dishes that include nearly all local ingredients, including meat, fish, poultry, and vegetables. Locals go gaga for the tomato basil soup and many a young lady has gone gaga for the adorable, blue-eyed, charming and very talented chef, John Strauss. John is in his element in the kitchen and puts lots of love into all his specials (especially the pork belly ;))
You’ll find the restaurant one block past the theater across from the post office.
Most Sunday nights stop in to listen to some great music.
The Hobnob happily hosts the fabulous Shannon Whitworth whenever she’s in town. Be sure to make reservations when she’s playing!
Insider’s Tip: If you want to see Chris light up just ask about his organic vegetable garden and his obsession with local mushrooms. Favorite Trail: Coontree in Pisgah.
