The Davidson River Campground is a magnificent family campground. The campground has a large mix of RV sites and car sites. There are numerous bathrooms throughout the site with at least one heated bathroom for those braving the colder temperatures. This campsite is conveniently located about a mile into Pisgah National Park along the Davidson River. The campground has a beautiful natural swimming hole near the middle loop of camp sites. In addition to the several trails around the campground, there are several waterfalls within a short drive of the campground. The campground is run by volunteers from the Cradle of Forestry who will do everything in their power to make your stay fun.
