What We Have In Brevard
People living in Brevard have a true sense of community. People donate their time to ensure this community stays a welcoming, caring, and trusting place. Don’t be surprised if a shop keeper asks you to ‘mind the store’ for a minute. Everyone keeps an eye out for their neighbors.
For families, this is an ideal place to live. With top notch schools and strong family values, children grow up with the same sense of community and a positive moral compass. Parents love that they can feel comfortable about their kids walking to town and enjoying a movie and a milk shake like they did as kids.
What We Lack
I know it’s shocking to admit that there’s any kind of deficiency in this fantastic location – but alas, honesty is always the best policy. Brevard lacks two things:
Decent Cellular Phone Service – think of it this way, if you’re looking to get away from the phone, this is your place. Seriously though, Verizon offers the best service and covers all of the County except Pisgah National Forest. AT&T offers spotty coverage and the rest of the carriers are abysmal. Downtown Brevard has 4G and most carriers work perfectly within the city limits.
A Multiplex Theater – There is, however, a FANTASTIC and charming one auditorium all-digital theater (The Co-Ed Theater) that plays first run movies daily at 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm. When it’s a block buster like the Hunger Games – they will put on a mid-night showing with all the bells and whistles!
